Made a visit to the Koh's grill and sushi bar with dear to check out their Shiok Maki.

It's pricey but I think it was worth the try.

Before our food came, we were bored so we decided to camwhore - as usual.

So here it is! I love how it's topped with a lot of roe!

The salmon feels a little bit cooked on the outside but on the inside, it's totally raw. So yummy.

We ordered our Shiok Maki with prawns because I don't like eel.

Of course, we couldn't avoid ordering this when we saw it in the menu. 

This was something else we decided to try. Its name is a far cry from its taste!

I died when I took the first mouth because we didn't know it was spicy. 

But other than that, I think this was pretty awesome...

After that we went window shopping for awhile and then watched Hangover 3 together.

While looking through the list of movies, I realised I have so many movies I want to catch right now!

There's Great Gatsby, Man of Steel (Superman), Now you see me, Great Expectations, Epic and Jurassic Park in 3D. Unless I go on a movie marathon next week, I doubt I'll be able to catch them all. 

Anyway, after our movie, we headed to a restaurant called No Menu along Boon Tat street. We shared an individual portion of aglio olio and had Ribeye steak too. So yummy. :D I won't put the pictures up because they just don't do justice to its taste. Go try it yourself if you are curious. (:

Time to chill on my Sunday and catch up on TV series! Have a great day ahead everyone!

Living to eat

     Exams are finally over and I haven't exactly celebrated by going out to party yet because my girlfriends from all the other unis are still having exams. In the mean time, I've been satisfying all the food craves I've had since too long with the bf! He's has been the greatest food buddy ever because we both love food! :D

I headed to STC today to visit and had a late lunch with Liv and Mr Ng. It was fun eating cheap $1.50 chicken teriyaki rice. Hehe. I kind of miss the malay stall that used to sell really yummy curry chicken drumstick, with nuggets and rice. It's a pity those old stalls we had are no longer around after the revamp. The 3 of us caught up for about 2 hours and then we parted and I headed to JCube to watch Ironman 3 IMAX 3D with my parents. Hoho. It's worth the watch if you're watching on IMAX. But I got a teenie bit dizzy after. Haha!

When I reached home, I decided to clean up my cupboard and I found really old journals that I used to write from 2004 to 2006. It's funny reading all the happenings I used to write about. It felt like a reminder of who I was last time, and about how I felt about things that I don't remember anymore. I guess maybe I should start a new journal again. I can't remember the last time I wrote in one... possibly 3-4 years ago? Oh well. Uni doesn't permit such spare time to write. Maybe I can try soon. Hmm...

Exams are over! Hurray! I just hope that my grades won't disappoint. I believe I did try my best. Oh well, I've really got to work harder next semester. It's so hard to score and do well especially when everyone else is smarter than you and all from top JCs. =/ I screwed up some things for sure. =/ Ah well, never mind. I shall leave those worries for January. It's time to enjoy now! :D

Mum got me 2 things from Sephora today. Hehehe. She said they're my advanced Christmas presents.
Hoho I'm so lucky. It's my first make up thing that I've bought in my life! Yay!

Had Macs breakfast with darling last week before I accompanied him for a haircut. Awesome simple Sausage Mcmuffin without egg. I never liked it with the egg. One of the 4 choices I eat for breakfast at Macs. Kinda rushed down just for the $4 deal before it ended and mine was the last order! (:

 Ate this for dinner at 9pm a few nights ago. My nights have been haywire the past few nights. It always happens during exam week. This is the super awesome seafood pasta from Bakerzin. It's the only thing that's worth eating there, I think. Oh, and of course, the macaroons! :D Love the chocolate and hazelnut flavours as usual. (:

I watched Twilight today with Mum and I'm going to watch it again with Yvonne tomorrow. Thankfully I'm using free tickets that are expiring the end of this month so I'm not wasting money watching it twice. I'm not a twilight fan but my mum is! I mean, I really don't mind the storyline and Jacob. Afterall, I really love love stories and Jacob's acting is natural and not bad. I just feel that Edward and Bella can't act well together. Whenever I see them, although they are supposed to be a couple, I just can't help but see a lack of chemistry between them and I absolutely hate it when Bella ALWAYS mumbles when she talks. Oh well, I tried to put that aside and enjoy the action anyway. (: I feel that Ashley Greene is just as pretty but I like her better with long hair. (:

I'm taking a 5min break from Biz law to blog! :D I met darling for breakfast at PS Macs today at 10am. (: It's been a long time since we had breakfast together. Anyway, we walked to Cathay after breakfast to catch Real Steel at 10.45am. It was such a perfect time to catch a movie. We had awesome seats, awesome company and it was not crowded at all! (:

The movie was great! I think I can relate to the relationship between father and son and of course enjoy some action! :D We headed home after our movie to catch up on work. I think it's brilliant to catch a movie in the morning and then head home to study after that, because there's still the whole day to do work and I can sleep earlier for early mondays too! (:

Had Fish and Co. last week to celebrate the belated birthdays of 2 of my friends. I'm glad they enjoyed their pressies! :D
