Happy holidays!

Wednesday, 5 December 2012
I just ended my last exam paper of the year! Whee! With the official start of my holidays, I have planned so many things to do. Sadly, most of them are chores or things that I haven't had time to do when I was in school. Oh well, got to make the most of what time I have!

Some things of my list:
1. Get a hair cut and maybe silk rebonding again (any recommendations?)
2. Dry clean stuff and do alterations to my clothes
3. Apply for a summer internship
4. Get a new swimming costume
5. Sell textbooks (Hohoho)
6. Read new books!

I bought these 2 books recently but haven't started on them. Finally found this one on sale - a rare chance at Bras Basah complex. I have been wanting to get it for the longest time. They were having a sale and I got it for $12. Yay! The strangest thing that happened with this book was that one day my dad came and told me "This book is good, you should read it". I went "Huh? How do you know? You mean you read it?!" He said "Yea... you see her make up is not too thick, it looks natural and you can put make up on in 5mins." I think he flipped through the book when I was sleeping. Hahaha. Since when do dads read about fashion?

This other book here, my mum got for me. Hehe.
Always Cecelia Ahern, nothing special... but I guess it's just my routine to get her books. :P

Also, because I wanted to pamper myself, I decided to get myself an S100 during the Black Friday sale. Whee!! I can take awesome pictures and put them up here again. Hoho. I miss how I used to be so free to spam this space with pretty pictures. My handphone camera died on me and I can't get a new one just yet so this new camera will arrive in time for me to use this Christmas! :D Note to self: Learn how to play around with the settings more so that pictures can turn out nicer. (:
Whee! I cannot wait for it to come! One more thing I'm hoping I can fulfil for this month and the next is to not shop. Shopping online during this period is just simply asking for it - because mails get lost or delayed more often. I shall save money because I'm broke from buying this camera. ><
So little time with so many things to do... But the best thing right now is to relax... and with this.. I shall end this with two awesome videos.

Diving in Mexico!

Silly bubbly cute pandas... Made my day.

I'm off to catch up on Castle, Nikita and maybe some cheesy Korean dramas too! ^^ Too loos!

Make do

Monday, 5 December 2011
I headed to town today to do some trading. Then I paid a visit to almost every store I could find! I haven't been to Orchard in so long so I visited Bershka, Accessorize, Topshop, Pull and Bear, F21, Zara, New Look, H&M, etc. I didn't buy anything though. My eyes almost popped out from all the rummaging through racks looking for something but nothing.
Outfit of the day.

Tried on this pretty dress from F21. It's a little ill-fitting at the waist though.

Wanted to get this knit sweater from H&M for $17 because I had a gift card but decided against it. I guess I'm saving my gift card for something better! :D

Oh well, now I'm home and exhausted from all the walking. It gets more tiring when you window shop by yourself because you take your time to comb through every stack... or at least that's what I do. Time to relax and get back to my book. I finished reading Big Girl by Danielle Steel the other day when I couldn't sleep. It took me so long to finish that book because I stopped halfway when I went for uni camps.

Now I'm onto Something from Tiffany's by Melissa Hill.

I guess I can say it's quite interesting, seeing that I've reached chapter 35 or so. Mum either borrowed or bought several books of Melissa Hill's recently. I saw a pile in her room. O.O Ok time to finish the last few chapters of this book! Bye!
